If you are using an email app such as Gmail, which comes pre-installed on Android phones, or an Outlook email app, which you can install easily, then you can easily access Bellsouth email on your Android device. Gmail
Gmail is considered by many as the best app/client for the management of email on Android. This application is developed by Google and is, in some cases, pre-installed on devices equipped with the Android operating system. It can, however, be downloaded free of charge at any time via the Play Store.
Among its main features, there is the possibility of reading emails from Gmail mail accounts but it is also possible to configure third-party providers, such as Outlook and Yahoo, in addition to using IMAP or POP3 protocols.
Having said that, if you want to make use of it and you need to download it, connect to the Play Store and press the Install button. At the end of the download, start the app by pressing on its icon that you will find added automatically to the home screen and/or drawer of your device.
When starting the app, click on the Login button, then choose the e-mail service you want to configure, by pressing on its name (for example Google or Outlook), then follow the instructions that are shown to you on the screen, to enter the email address and password of the account you want to configure.
If, on the other hand, you wish to configure an email address different from the default ones, select the item Other (IMAP) and, after indicating your email address, enter the correct IMAP and SMTP parameters so that the correct communication with the mail servers takes place e. At the end of the configuration, you can find all the emails received directly on the main screen of the app. If you then want to access the other sections of Gmail, press on the icon located in the upper left corner and identify those useful to you, such as sent mail (Sent). To write a new email, instead, presses the button (+).
Outlook
Among the most famous apps for managing email on Android, we must also mention Outlook, Microsoft’s email service. Through this app, you can configure Mail, Outlook and Live accounts along with using Bellsouth email.
That said if you want to take advantage of it, connect to the Android Play Store and download the app, pressing the Install button. At the end of the automatic installation, start the application by pressing on its icon that you will find added to the home screen and/or drawer of your device.
When the app starts, it starts configuring the email account to be added, indicating the email address in the text field that is shown to you. Then press the Add account button and enter your password. If it is a different e-mail account than the pre-configured e-mail account, you will also be asked to enter the relevant IMAP and SMTP parameters.
At the end of the configuration, whether manual or automatic, you will be shown all the e-mail messages received in the Inbox folder, which is divided into the categories Highlighted and Other.
